Some Like It Wild
Kincaid Highlander #2

Teresa Medeiros
Historical Romance
Published in 2009

H/h - Connor Kincaid/Pamela Darby
Setting: England/ Scotland, the Highlands, 1814.

Read in Jan, 2011.
My rating:

Note: Absolutely adored the hero Connor, such a hunk of a man and sweet, too. *sigh*

Seriously, I like Connor and I kinda like Pamela as I like all the heroines with brown hair/eyes and a curvy body, who isn't the 'belle of the ball' type. I wish she was smarter since she isn't entirely dumb. So, why on earth she's concocted such a moronic and risky plan??? And, also Connor's playing along with her. Sometimes, I don't know what to think.

Some Like It Wicked by Teresa Medeiros

Some Like It Wicked
Kincaid Highlander #1

Teresa Medeiros
Historical Romance
Published in 2008

H/h - Simon Wescott/Catriona Kincaid
Setting:  England/Scotland, the Highlands, 1810.

Read in Jan, 2011.
My rating:

Hmm, the story is not uncommon but good. Simon is the kind of hero really grates on me, too rakish heroes often do. I don't care that he was a bastard and all that. Just what kinda people waste their live in such a pathetic way? In these circumstances, the only thing I keep thinking is the various kinds of diseases, not a very pleasant thought at all.

H/h - Gabriel Fairchild, the Earl of Sheffield/Cecily March
Setting: Buckinghamshire/London, 1806.

My rating:

Just read 4/5chps. Nothing new yet. Gabriel is a sexy blond, crazy ... blind babe ... Love the combination. Now, have to see just how much can I handle his explosions (of rage, anger among other things ;) ) Hmm ... Still not sure about Samantha. This one's got pretty mixed reviews so have to wait and see. :)

H/h - Hayden St. Clair, the Marquess of Oakleigh/Carlotta Fairleigh

Note: This book was a great improvement, at least the heroine Lottie, who was nothing less than insane in the first book of this series.

The Bride and The Beast by Teresa Medeiros

The Bride and The Beast
Fairy Tale #2

Teresa Medeiros
Historical Romance
Published in 2001

H/h - Bernard MacCullough/Gwendolyn Wilder
Setting: Scotland, the Highlands 1761.

Read in Jan, 2011.
My rating:

Just read 2 chaps and I'm very interested to know this 'Dragon' better. I don't know about Gwen and her kinfolks. No, Gwen is ok, I like her but her sisters are just so damn annoying, part time whores that they are ... God! And when they needed a virgin to sacrifice they found no one except Gwen! Ahemm, it's not gibberish people, this is a fairytale and I think I like the plot. Oh, already mentioned that, right! ... Let's see how things far from here now that they (the village people of Ballybliss) have left Gwen bounded on a stake in front of the castle as a sacrifice to the Dragon!

This one's also got a very mixed review.
