Don't Tempt Me
The Georgian #4

Sylvia Day
Historical Romance/Erotica
Published in 2008

H/h - Simon Quinn/Lynette Baillon
Setting: Paris, 1780.

Read in Dec, 2011.
My rating:

                                                            [spoiler alert]

Alright, gotta say Don't Tempt Me had quite a lot of twists and turns I really enjoyed. Romance-wise, Simon and Lynette’s relationship wasn’t satisfactory. I was more interested in Lysette and Edward’s but SD cheated me out of their HEA by ignoring them in the end.

A Passion for Him
The Georgian #3

Sylvia Day
Historical Romance/Erotica
Published in 2007

H/h - Colin Mitchell/Amelia Benbridge
Setting: London, 1780.

Read in Dec, 2011.
My rating:

                                                       [spoiler alert]

Hmm, not sure where to start. This book was ok, nothing exciting for me. Nada from Colin or Amelia that could make me dance. Weird thing is, I wasn’t bored or anything but I wasn’t hooked either. Some spy actions went on here as well but not enough to make me bite my nails.

Passion for the Game
The Georgian #2

Sylvia Day
Historical Romance/Erotica
Published in 2007

H/h - Christopher St. John/Lady Maria Winter
Setting: London, 1771/72 (?).

Read in Dec, 2011.

My rating:

                                                          [spoiler alert]

I am so disappointed in Christopher’s story. It started out quite promising but went downhill after a few chapters. I didn’t really feel the plot, skipped quite a bit. And then, it just had many eww-factors/awkward situations than I care to read. I tried but just couldn’t really like or connect with either Maria or Christopher. I’ll try to point out the problems I had in this book in my review.

Ask for It
The Georgian #1

Sylvia Day
Historical Romance/Erotica
Published in 2006

H/h - Marcus Ashford, the Earl of Westfield/Elizabeth Moore, Lady Hawthorne
Setting: London, 1770.

Read in Dec, 2011.
My rating:

                                                                 [spoiler alert]

Have to say, I’m very happy with Sylvia Day’s 1st book (for me). Ask For It definitely made me ask for things *winkwink* and even though things about Marcus bugged me, I ended up really liking him. Elizabeth was a pleasure to read, I did connect with her in so many levels, can’t explain. I also loved that in the end, I believed these two were supposed to be together, despite Marcus’s rakish character and Elizabeth’s 1st marriage. It was great that we weren’t just supposed to swoon over Marcus because of his reputation, which Elizabeth didn’t. He worked hard to get her; he was as emotionally vulnerable in the book as was she which is why I had so much fun.

Helene Blackmailed

Elliot Mabeuse

Contemporary Romance/Erotica (BDSM)
Published in 2008

H/h - Daniel/Helene Blanchard
Setting: Present time.

Read in Dec, 2011.
My rating:

                                                      [spoiler alert]

I don’t know, every time I finish one of Dr. Mabeuse’s books, I totally go tra-la-la-la-la. Don’t look at me like that! I’m amazed to find he can play with my mind like he does with his characters. The situation was entirely creepy... EM does great creepy situations, I find that I like those ‘creepy’ situations *stares out the window with a blank look* but in RL, I’ll definitely freak out and would be calling the cop first. But, this is not RL so I was safe to think that some good shagging with a hot blackmailer is just the thing I need, er, Helene needs. Lol

Gabriel's Inferno
Gabriels Inferno #1

Sylvain Reynard
Contemporary Romance
Published in 2011

H/h - Gabriel Emerson/Julia Mitchell
Setting: Toronto, 2009.

Read in Dec, 2011.
My rating:

                                                     [spoiler alert]

I don’t know what I’ll write in my review. This book has been reviewed by many with very emotive words so I don’t really think my review will add anything new. But, as my usual habit, I like to babble away and in this one, I’ll do the same. Lol Think I’ll just talk about why this book impacted my so deeply and I’m glad to say Sylvain Reynard’s debut novel was a winner for me.

The Professor Speaks - Museum Sex

Good lord, meseum and sex? I'll never look at museums the same way ever again!

I LOVED the museum scene in Gabriel's Inferno and this post by our Prof. Emerson (er, I mean by SR) informs that there would be more in the sequel! *faints*

Yesss, you got it right, I can't wait!!

Loved this writing! From Sylvain Reynard's website, follow the link below for the original post.
