Eww! Really. WTF was that I just read? Ewwwwwwwww! If I knew what was inside this short story I wouldn’t have read it, at all. Yep the blurb fooled me, again, and so did the cover.
I’m not going to recount what happened because it’s very short, about 9 pages or so. And I can’t possibly talk about the story as a whole because it was sick, twisted... I don’t know why smashwords say it’s an erotica because I found NOTHING erotic here. It was a horror (and kinda disgusting) story with the mention and bits of description of a gruesome murder (possibly murders). The woman who did it and what she did afterwards........ Egh, sorry, can’t explain. I can only say that when I read the blurb, I thought of a totally different type of a storyline.
So why did I give it a 3 star? I was actually thinking, this is sooo going to be my first 1 star book!, as I got into about halfway. Then as I made myself finish it, I thought the author did a pretty good job of mindf*cking me! The horror atmosphere was good. The writing needs to improve though. Anyhoo, if you do not like sick, disturbing stuff, don’t bother reading this book because I wouldn’t recommend even though it’s free. Otherwise, go right ahead.
I’m not sure I would be reading anything else by this author if this is his preferred style.
